Situated on the northern shores of Lake Victoria, it is virtually on the Equator, and covers an area of 40.7hectares. The gardens house a collection of species of plants of the tropical, sub-tropical and temperate zones, besides several shrubs and other plants which regenerated naturally over the years. The habitat has attracted a diverse array of birds (206 species) and monkeys.

Kasubi Tombs is globally recognized as a major Heritage site. It is where four of the former Kings of Buganda were buried. It is a royal palace enclosure that was first built in 1881. Here there are huge traditional reed and bark cloth buildings of the kabakas (kings) of the Baganda. The Kasubi Tombs, also known as the Ssekabaka's Tombs, are the royal tombs where the four former kabakas of Buganda are buried. This site is a masterpiece of human creativity both in its conception and execution. It bears eloquent witness to the living cultural traditions of the Baganda

Namugongo Uganda Martyrs Shrine is where 22 young men were burnt alive on the orders of king Mwanga for refusing to denounce their newly found faith in Christ. The impressive Namugongo martyrs shrine is where 22 Christian converts were executed on the orders of Kabaka Mwanga II in 1886. On the visit of Pope Paul VI to Uganda in 1969, the victims were canonized and since then the shrine has become an important site for Uganda Christians and tourists. The site has been host to two popes (1969&1993), and thousands of other religious, political and civic celebrities. To this day, every 3rd of June, Christians from all walks of life make a pilgrimage to Namugongo to remember these young heroes. There are two churches built at the site; one for the Anglicans and the other for the Catholics.

Lake Mburo National Park is 260 sq. km and it has markedly different fauna from other reserves in Uganda. It is the only national park in Uganda that contains an entire lake. Situated in rolling hills and open grassy valleys, the park also consists of 4 other smaller lakes. Lake Mburo National park is covered in extensive open and wooded acacia savannah. This park is home to the largest diversity of both plant and wildlife of all Uganda's national parks. It is also the best place to see the gigantic Eland Antelope as well as Zebra, Topi, Impala, the more uncommon Klipspringer, Burchell's Zebra, Buffalo, Hippopotamus, and several acacia associated birds.

Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika and is well known for its charming scenic beauty. We shall visit the islands, stay with local families, meet the Batwa ('Pygmies') and admire views of volcanoes.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the Gorilla sanctuary. The drive takes us through the Kigezi highlands, known as the “Switzerland of Africa”, with terraced farming and mountain scenery to Bwindi gorilla Forest which is home to more than half of the world’s 720 mountain gorillas. The time taken hiking depends on the movement of these apes! The gorillas are shy, peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph these gentle giants at close range

On this day, w set off early after breakfast, and with packed lunch, and head to the Park Headquarters for briefing prior to Gorilla Tracking. It is the most exciting lifetime experience of all time. The gorillas are gentle animals and it is an unforgettable experience to photograph them as they interact. It is a wonderful experience to stare in to the eyes of these gentle giants; watch them in awe as they play and go about their daily activities. It is indeed a “once in a lifetime” experience that you must never miss. Each encounter with the gorillas is different and has its own rewards; you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display

Queen Elizabeth National Park, the second largest of all Uganda’s parks. Passing through the southern part of Queen Elizabeth gives many chances of seeing the tree climbing lions. Queen Elizabeth is a UNESCO World Biosphere and has one of the highest biodiversity ratings of any game reserve in the world! Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 614 bird species can be found. Big African mammals like the African Elephant, Lots of hippos along the natural Kazinga channel, Cape Buffalo, Bush and Water buck, the elusive giant forest hog and the handsome Uganda kob all regularly sighted, on a night game drive there are higher chances of seeing the nocturnal cat and birds

We shall do game drive in the morning. The Kasenyi plains support large concentrations of game, especially lion. The area around the seven crater lakes in the northern hills is very scenic but game viewing is erratic. The Mweya peninsula is usually good to see the large mammals, bushbuck, waterbuck, and elephant, as well as the unusual giant forest hog. Leopard may also be seen in this area. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which is especially rewarding for viewing a variety of game especially hippo, buffalo

Depending on the luck we shall have had on the past game drive, today we can have an optional morning game drive after checking out or depart after breakfast and enjoy game viewing en-route towards Kibale Forest National Park. We shall spend our night at Primate

After Breakfast go for chimpanzee tracking. You will also see other primates including monkeys, blue red tailed and gray cheeked mangabey. Murchison Falls Conservation area (MFNP) comprises of Bugungu and Karuma Wildlife Reserves. It derives its name from the Murchison Falls where the mighty River Nile explodes through a narrow gorge and flows down to become a placid river whose banks are thronged with hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks and buffaloes. The vegetation is characterized by savannah, river line forest and woodland. Wildlife includes lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hartebeest, oribis, Uganda kobs, and many bird species including the rare shoebill
